The Deteriorated Condition Data Report’s main purpose is to provide the user with a view of the dataset which is used by the analysis module when running a Works Plan. Viewing the deteriorated condition data also allows for further analysis to be performed. For example, a user could calculate mean condition values for each year over the works plan period, grouped by asset group or (when joined to the network data) area, DFT classification, road type etc.
The report shows the value of each condition data parameter used in a particular Works Plan, for each year of the Works Plan after deterioration has been applied. This information is referenced against each Section Label, Feature Code, XSP, Start/End Chainage and Asset Group, with the length of each record being determined by the sub-section length specified in the Treatment Set settings.
The report also shows if a treatment is triggered when the rules of the Works Plan are applied to the deteriorated data, and if so, the name of the triggered treatment along with the ID of the rule which triggered it.
The triggered treatment is not always the one selected by the works plan, treatments are triggered based on the deteriorated condition data and treatment trigger settings, but then are selected for using other settings in the Works Plan such as merge efficiency and benefit cost-ratio. A separate advanced csv export, called “Selected Schemes” exists to identify the treatments which are selected in each year of a Works Plan.
