Viewing Works Plan Results
A Works Plan evaluates a number of scenarios to identify the best value option that meets the required targets. The recommended Works Plan scenario is displayed as a set of Layers in the Explorer module Layers drop-down. The Works Plan folder contains a Layer for each financial year that the Works Plan has run for. You can see the proposed Treatments on the map and in the strip view, and export Works Plan layers. See Exporting a Layer. To explore the reasons for a proposed Treatment, the graphing panel presents survey Condition Parameters on the Section.
Works Plan Scenarios as Layer folders
You can also access reports on the Works Plan at Network, Section, and Treatment item level. See Viewing Works Plan Reports.
To view a proposed set of annual works on the map
- In Explorer, click the Layers icon.
- Locate the required Works Plan folder, and click the folder name to see the Layers for each year.
- Click the Layer for the required year.
The works can be seen on the map.
To filter view of a proposed set of annual works by sub-Network
When a sub-Network is selected, you can interact only with sections included in the sub-Network.
Without Network Filtering enabled, treatments outside the sub-Network belonging to the works plan Layer can be viewed but not selected.
With Network Filtering enabled, treatments for an active works plan Layer do not appear outside the sub-Network.

To view the detail of an individual proposed Treatment
- In Explorer, navigate to the Section that the Treatment is on and click to select the Section.
- Click on the Treatment using its call-out.
- Click the Information icon, and select Item Information. The detail of the Treatment is displayed including proposed Treatment length.
To view Condition Parameters for a proposed Treatment length in the graphing panel
- In Explorer, navigate to the Section that contains a proposed Treatment and click to select the Section.
- Click on the Treatment using its call-out. Sections with possible Treatment lengths are visible in the strip view.
- Click the Graphing icon and select the Condition Parameter to view. The survey Condition Parameters on the Section are displayed in the graphing panel, alongside the strip view.
To view the configuration of a Works Plan
- In the Analysis module, click the Works Plan icon.
The Works Plan drop-down opens. The configuration of the completed Works Plan is listed in the Complete folder in the Works Plan drop-down.
- Locate the required Works Plan to view, and click on it. The inputs into the Works Plan are displayed.
