Treatment Sets

What are Treatment Sets?

The output of a Treatment Set is an unconstrained list of Treatments (based on expected current condition) required over the analysed Network ranked according to benefit.

You apply priorities, strategies, and budgets in a Works Plan to develop scenarios that inform forward planning for successive years. How Treatment Sets and Work Plans combine to enable your forward planning are illustrated below:

Treatments Sets

A Treatment Set is a complete list of required works for the current financial year (at the time of the analysis process). The works identified within a Treatment Set are triggered by a set of defined condition rules and thresholds using historic survey data deteriorated to the given year (if required). The Treatments listed in a Treatment Set are not constrained by budget and therefore list all required Treatments on the Network (or region). When a Treatment Set is saved it is archived and Works Plans will run against the archived Treatment Set. Each Treatment Set appears under the Treatment Set folder in the Layers drop-down.
