About Works Plan Reports
The Works Plans Summary report describes the scenarios evaluated as part of a multi-year analysis to identify the treatments required over the Network. The number and type of scenarios that are evaluated depend on the type of strategic targets that you define in the analysis process. In addition, two base level system scenarios are generated: Worst First and Asset Sweating.
Worst First:
After accounting for works done, the Worst First scenario evaluates the ranking of all required treatments purely based on condition and those able to deliver the treatments offering the biggest benefit that also meet a minimum treatment length. Then Horizons puts all treatments in order with the worst first and lists them until the annual budget is fully consumed. When the treatment in the ranked order is reached for which there is insufficient budget, the treatment is skipped in favour of a treatment further down the ranking for which there is sufficient budget. With an unlimited budget this would treat all Sections that met the condition triggers. Shortest Treatment lengths will be actioned last.

Network Level Reports
Works Plans Summary Report
Presents the input parameters to the Works Plan and a summary of the results from each scenario. See also About Works Plans.
Works Plan Scenario Report
Provides a more detailed breakdown of the input parameters, the Treatments generated by year, and the overall cost profile over the time frame of the Works Plan. Includes RCI scores, Condition Parameters, Whole Government Accounting and DCR Change.
Summary Report
An interactive summary chart displayed on screen in Explorer. Provides a quick visual display of the Treatment counts and overall Treatment length. See also Viewing a Summary Report.
Treatment Summary (CSV)
Download a CSV report of all Sections, with Treatment quantities broken down by financial year. The information in this report is the same as the Treatment Summary (CSV) run for a Treatment Set, but with the strategies and priorities applied and so only shows the proposed Treatments. This report also projects the Treatments for the years defined in the Works Plan. See also About Treatment Summary Reports.
Section
Works Plan (Section Details)
Provides the proposed Treatments for a Section. Use this report to investigate the outputs from a completed Works Plan at Section level.
Treatment Item
Section Item Summary
Provides full details of an individual proposed Treatment.
Viewing Works Plan Reports
Each Works Plan evaluates a number of scenarios to identify the best value option that meets the required targets. The recommended option is displayed as a set of Layers in the Explorer module together with the reports for the Work Plan.

You can view the proposed Treatments on the map. See Viewing Works Plan Results.
If network filtering is enabled, you can filter the Works Plan Report Results to include only a specified sub-Network. See About Network Filtering.
To view a Works Plan report
- In Explorer > Layers drop-down, select the required year Layer for the multi-year Works Plan.
- Click the Reports icon and in the Works Plan folder, click the required report:
- Works Plans Summary Report
- Works Plan Scenario Report
- Summary Report* Treatment Summary (CSV) - see About Treatment Summary Reports.
To view proposed Treatments for a Section
- In Explorer > Layers drop-down, select the required year Layer for the Works Plan.
- Navigate to the Section that the contains a proposed Treatment and click to select the Section.
- From the Reports drop-down Section folder, select the Works Plan (Section Details) report.
The detailed report for the Section detailed report is displayed. You can print the report or open it in a new window to save in the format of your choice.
To view proposed Treatments for a Section Item
- In Explorer > Layers drop-down, select the required year Layer for the Works Plan.
- Navigate to the Section that contains a proposed Treatment and click to select the Section.
- Click on the Treatment Item using its call-out.
- Click the Reports icon and in the Section Item folder, click Section Item Summary.
To view a Scheme Analysis report for a treatment item in a Works Plan
- Select the Works Plan layer from the Layers dropdown.
- At interaction level, click on section on which the Treatment is defined.
- Click the Treatment length or its corresponding call-out.
- Go to Reports > Section Item > Scheme Analysis.
The Scheme Analysis report opens.
