Defining Styles from Text Matching Options
You can create styles for a Data Layer that simply needs to specify that selected data items are present. If a data item is present, it is visible on the map in the colour that you pick for that data item’s style.
A style or style rule defines the rule applied to data fields used to trigger the chosen style colour. If no style rules trigger for an item, the item will not be shown in the layer

To define styles for a Layer from text matching options
In the Explorer Layers drop-down, click Add Layer.
The Create Layer window opens.
- Enter the name of the new Layer.
A Layer name must be unique in Horizons.
- In the Layer Group box, select the folder for the Layer, and click OK.
The Layer Setup window opens. The data sources that are associated with your Network are available to base your Layer on.

Select the Layer type to base the new Layer on.

Click Done.
- To edit the colour for the data item, click on the style.
The Editing Style window opens.

To edit the colour for a style, click on the style, the Editing Style window opens.

Click the colour picker, select the new colour, and click Done.
