Condition Parameters
Define the values used to measure asset condition
The Condition Parameters in your Horizons project are used to evaluate and track the condition of your Network assets over time. Each one represents an attribute or standard metric that is periodically measured on assets during surveys, with the aim of keeping it within an acceptable value range for optimal asset performance and longevity.
For each Condition Parameter, you can define a deterioration curve that models how the parameter is likely to degrade over time on each Asset Group. This can be calculated from historical survey data or using a linear/quadratic equation. When running a Treatment Set or Works Plan, Horizons uses this to predict the future condition of your assets and determine the most effective Treatment to apply to each subsection.
